LION'S RIVERBEND CAMPGROUND INFORMATION

We invite you to visit beautiful Neepawa or to make it your future home! Neepawa offers new housing developments, business and employment opportunities, great schools and medical services.

Situated on the Yellowhead Highway we offer tourist & recreational attractions such as 18-hole golf, camping, Margaret Laurence Home, Lily Festival, hiking & cross-country skiing trails. Neepawa is the proud home of the Neepawa Natives Junior A Hockey club.

The Immigrant Settlement Services' mission is to provide assistance to people who are learning to live in a new country.  Settlement services help people develop skills and knowledge to participate in a new society. A booklet on Canadian Customs and Laws is available here or from Marian. Copies are also available in Korean and Ukranian from the Immigration Settlement Office.
 
  • Information and orientation about life in Canada and your community
  • help filling out forms such as Manitoba Health, SIN, Manitoba Provincial Nominee, Permanent Resident, etc.
  • Support, information and assistance concerning immigration issues
  • Advocacy
  • Referrals for educaton, employment and housing
  • Cultural Diversity Training
Settlement Partner Program - is where a Canadian is matched with a newcomer to offer help in adjusting to life in Canada.  Volunteers can help in the following ways:
  • Provide friendship and support
  • Introduce community resources
  • Provide the opportunity to practice English
All Services are Free of Charge. Neepawa and Area Immigrant Settlement Services is funded by Manitoba Labour and Immigration.
